Welcome to my Blog!
Hi, my name is Michelle and I’m a recovering adrenaline addict. Not the kind that jumps out of airplanes. It was more in the disguise of being busy and stressed. Since I was a baby I felt people’s energy and emotions. My mom told me that whenever she was going through something she would notice that I got quiet or wouldn’t eat. Most of my life has been dealing with a compromised immune system, anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, hormone imbalances, insomnia and a driven personality to over achieve and be overly productive. I became addicted to stress and doingness. Looking back a lot of it was my way of dealing with trauma’s, mineral imbalances, and being empathic. It didn’t help that I was also the go to person for advice and people telling me their dark secrets. My friends would often joke that I always needed “me time”. In 2015, while starting menopause with stage 3 adrenal burnout, I was also having a spiritual awakening. What seemed like the worst and most humbling time, was soon to be the greatest gift I could have asked for. It’s been a bumpy road with a lot of life lessons that have also helped me to be relatable and compassionate with others. I know it was ALL been part of the process!
This blog is where I will share what I have learned about stress, aging, adrenal burnout, spirituality, nutrition, stress related health issues, self-care, self-love and how it’s all connected. I no longer have those health issues other than still regulating hormones and rebuilding my energy to a healthy grounded energy, not the stressed-out wired and tired kind. I have dealt with the pain, grief and lack of forgiveness, with myself and others. That means I will not blame or victimize me or them. I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and we come into this world of pure love. Through human life events/trauma we are separated from love and for whatever karmic reasons that are set out before we are born, have determined the lessons we want to learn in this lifetime. The journey is to return, back to love.
Burnout is a real thing, is it happening to you?
If you find yourself tired, lost and feeling unwell, then this may be the place for you. I’m a problem-solver by nature and this last burnout made me stop and look deep into my patterns and way of living and thinking. Through my life experiences, what I learned from doctor’s that helped me, my certification studies and working with others on their journey, I see how it’s all connected. I believe that when we are ready to make deep shifts then our eyes, heart and attitude becomes receptive to change. I want to make it easier for you and your journey, so you don’t have to do unnecessary things or waste the money that I did to get here.
This section labeled “Blog” is me sharing what I have learned and other information that I hope will inspire and assist you with your journey. My goal is to keep it simple, but powerful. When you come across a bold italic word that is a link to other resources such as posts in the section labeled “Articles”. I found that many websites I go to have way too much information right out of the gate. Although it’s extremely informative and well written, people who are not feeling well are usually tired, foggy brained and have a short attention span. This is why I will use this approach in my website content.
